\u201cBut thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ\u2019s triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of Him everywhere. <\/b>For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. To the one we are an aroma that brings death; to the other, an aroma that brings life. And who is equal to such a task?\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n

God will often use natural principles to explain Biblical truths. Just as a pleasant perfume or incense can transform the atmosphere around us, so should the <\/span>spiritual aroma <\/span><\/i>of our<\/span> Savior carried by God\u2019s people impact those in our midst. As ambassadors for Christ, we must bear His image, not just for our own benefit but for the edification and exhortation of others. As we yield ourselves to the Holy Spirit and His ongoing work of sanctification, the fragrance of Christ\u2019s anointing is manifested through our service.\u00a0 In God\u2019s eyes, every Spirit-led message, song, prayer, or simple act of kindness goes forth as a heavenly fragrance– though some will not receive it. Yet, in our obedience, the Lord is pleased and glorified.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dear Father,\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Please anoint us to spread the knowledge of Christ and carry His pleasing aroma wherever we go. Only by your grace can we fulfill this awesome task, submitting ourselves in sincere reverence and thanksgiving. Glory to your Name! Amen.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

It\u2019s the truth that sets us free, from both the power and the wages of sin. Because the enemy is the author of lies, he distorts and perverts what God has said and done. False Gospels serve those who\u2019d rather embrace their sin, than repent of it. The theologies behind these fake gospels may use harmless sounding labels like inclusive <\/i>or progressive. <\/i>But anything that leads us to celebrate what God forbids, is not of God, and therefore has no power to redeem. So, we can choose to walk in truth by the Word\u2014or embrace our old nature by the counterfeit. One offers life\u2014the other offers death. But there is no middle ground.\n\nDear Lord, \n<\/i>Please keep us from deception. For in your perfect love, you are neither double-minded, nor swayed by popular opinion: You change not. No one can improve your word or your finished work. By your grace, we can take the narrow path, where our hunger for truth overrides the flesh. In Jesus\u2019 Name.
