His grace enables us to trust in Jesus, the one who went before us and goes with us by the Spirit. Because He rose we can embrace the cross. And death-to-self is the door that brings us into divine purpose.<\/b><\/p>\n

Father, I thank you that my old man is crucified and my risen Savior lives. In Christ, I am a victorious dead man walking!

Dead Man, Walking!\n<\/span>There is a place, a wall of fear\nThat slows our race as we draw near\nTo what the Lord called us to do\nBut, draw your sword and press on through\n\nWho can condemn what God has blessed?\nNone enter in without a test\nThe roaring lion has lost his bite\nWe must take Zion \u2013 it is our right\n\nThere is a glory\nBeheld by those\nWho have this story:\nIn Christ, I rose!<\/pre>\n
\u201cTherefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.\u201d Romans 6:4 (NKJV)<\/b><\/h2>\n

\n<\/strong><\/span>My Thoughts<\/span>
\nJust as sure as we are called to good works there is an enemy whose desire is to see us fail. It seems as though the closer we come to the breakthrough, the more vigilant is his lying ministry of fear and doubt. This is warfare.
\nHowever, we\u2019ve been given mighty weapons that are spiritual and not carnal. But, in order to wield these weapons we must reckon our old man dead, and walk in the newness of life, as born again believers.<\/p>\n
Draw your sword and press \u2013 The word of God: this is how Jesus fought in the wilderness during His temptation.<\/p>\n
None enter in without a test \u2013 No pain, no gain. The journey of transformation is not easy.<\/p>\n
The roaring lion has lost his bite \u2013 It is finished. At Calvary Jesus defeated the works of the enemy. But that does not exempt us from the battle. This is where we learn to trust God and walk by faith.<\/p>\n
Zion is our right \u2013 Our Savior\u2019s sacrifice afforded us power to become the sons of the Most High God. We have claim to a divine birthright.<\/p>\n
In Christ, I rose \u2013 Paul desired to suffer in Christ in order to know Him and the power of His resurrection. Our present suffering cannot compare to the glory that is laid up for us.<\/p>\n
