In the beginning, God gave them a choice
To obey His word and follow His voice
The serpent crept in and planted a lie
Their soul would live on, but their spirit would die
The glory departed, they hid behind leaves
Though loving omniscience has foreknown their grief\u00a0
He brought skins to cover their fear and their shame
But total salvation would wait on His Name.
For God spoke a word to His children in need

This poem expresses the incomparable, infinite, omniscience of our God. How awesome is He who had the plan for our salvation in place\u2014before the foundation of the world. Such love surpasses all understanding!\u00a0<\/p>\n
