Much Forgiven

He knows all about me and He forgave me. Hallelujah!

Lord, you are increasingly irresistible. You’ve pierced my heart and I’m wooed by your mercies. How do I love thee? Countless are the ways, for I am one much forgiven.

Much Forgiven

Your mercy pardoned me
And your grace has set me free
I’ll praise your name with gladness
And serve you all my days

The world rejected me
Saying all I could not be
But, I thank you Lord forever
For your promises are real

No love but yours can fill me
No peace but yours, can still me
Redemption has disarmed my past
And I am saved by faith.

“Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven – as her great love has shown. But whoever has been forgiven little loves little.” Luke 7:47

My Thoughts
Jesus is Immanuel: God with us. For some He’s more visible during our mountaintop experiences; others see Him more clearly in the valley. No two journeys of faith are the same, but we are changed as we behold Him.

In His light I perceive the depth and breadth of my failures, and the many times He’s lifted my head from despair. Cleansed and set free to bask in the Savior’s boundless forgiveness! For this I praise my way through a hostile world –and declare my love for the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

Beloved Unbeliever

Someone once said that if God could be psychoanalyzed, it would be concluded that His love for us is obsessive-compulsive. In Psalm 8:4 David ponders, “What is man that you are mindful of him…?” Dear Father, you love us because you are love! You can be one with us...
