Un-learnable

Jesus showed us the unconditional love of God. We, in turn, are called to demonstrate His love to everyone, from the most violated victim to the vilest criminal.

Holy Spirit, come. Impart to us the mind of Christ. Grace us to obey as you reveal the Father’s heart. Apart from you, God’s perfect love is a lesson un-learnable..

.

Un-learnable
I suffer, and multiply it a billion times
And fail to reach the height of your suffering
I love, and multiply it a trillion times
And fail to reach the depth of your love.
I consider the infinite
And fail to reach the beginning of your thoughts
Oh Lord! How can I grasp the fullness of your love?
Or reckon the cost?
Where do I start?
Behold! Each soul is priceless…

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

My thoughts
The majesty of God boggles the mind. The heights and depths of our human experience are so far removed from His boundless splendor. Love Incarnate came and died on the cross for our sins, and we’re called to exemplify His love to
a fallen world. But, it’s only by the Spirit that we behold His presence…and are molded for His service.

Soul Mates

Once upon a time, in the Garden of Eden, there was a divinely ordained union of Holy intimacy. The male beheld his Ezer-Kenegdo: his female counterpart, taken out of him, presented back to him, to reunite with him, as one flesh. It was God’s doing and God’s timing....
