Desire

Blessed are the hungry for they shall be filled. Our Lord declared it, and His words are true!

How lovely you are, my King of Glory. I worship you in the beauty of holiness. Above all things, you are my heart’s desire.

Desire
You are a fountain that will never cease
Mover of Mountains and the Prince of Peace
Oh! I hunger for your word.

A faithful caller standing at the door
You came to fill me so I thirst no more
Oh! I hunger for your word.

Seed of the woman, perfect sacrifice
Our Father’s blessing of eternal life
Oh! I hunger for your word.

“For he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.”
Psalm 107:9

My Thoughts
We’ve all heard the expression we are what we eat with regard to our physical health. How much more so in the spirit realm. Those who desire Jesus must love His word because they are one. Even the lyrics of praise and worship proclaim His word. A healthy spiritual appetite hungers and thirsts for the Living Water: Bread from heaven. So take Him in by the Spirit.
